6 Alternatives to Tom Ford Bitter Peach

Perfume Dupes Similar To Tom Ford Bitter Peach

We all like a wonderful fruity scent, but nothing beats Tom Ford‘s Bitter Peach in terms of flexibility. As a major admirer of unisex scents, I’ve always appreciated how Bitter Peach defies stereotypes and smells just as good on men as it does on women. The secret, I believe, is that the peach is both the star of the show and not at all. The intricacy of all the components combined creates a scent that may shapeshift depending on who is wearing it.

Although it seems to be a one-of-a-kind scent, I am sure I am not the only one who wishes it were more accessible to the general population. I’m happy to say that I’ve found perfumes that not only smell like Bitter Peach, but also go above and beyond to bring out certain details.

What We Want from Tom Ford Bitter Peach

Bitter Peach, a unisex fragrance that launched in 2020, was initially part of the Tom Ford Private Blend Collection. Bitter Peach is not your typical fruity scent; it was created to bring out sweetness while still having deep sensual and warming characteristics. This fragrance is the ideal midday trademark perfume in my opinion. It’s fruity yet based on woody ingredients, with a hint of spice and flowers. It’s not too sweet or too fruity, and even though the peach in it might make you think the scent is more feminine, the woody and amber notes in the dry down give it a masculine edge.

The aroma begins with peach, blood orange, and cardamom and quickly transitions to a sweet but spicy character that feels warm and pleasant. The main notes give the smell a more masculine aspect, with rum and cognac at the forefront, but they are then discreetly combined with jasmine to give it a more feminine and light feel. The patchouli, vanilla, and sandalwood drydown is amber-forward and sensuous, and it is a surprisingly nice blend with the peach, as it lifts the whole structure out of an overwhelmingly sweet position and provides some grounding woodsy notes.

Bitter Peach is the right blend of sweet, gentle, and woody. It has a reasonably long-lasting smell with excellent sillage, particularly with the peach and patchouli notes. At each step of the construction, I believe there is something for everyone.

Because it’s such a strong candidate for a trademark perfume, you’d think the price would be reasonable enough for daily usage. Thankfully, while Tom Ford is beyond my price range, I’ve discovered 6 dupes that will keep you smelling fresh on a regular basis without breaking the bank.

6 Dupes of Tom Ford Bitter Peach

1. Dua Sour Peach

$65.00 AT THEDUABRAND.COM

This is an excellent compromise if you want a bit more peach in your Tom Ford scent. Dua Sour Peach is very fruity and sweet, with a similar structure to Tom Ford Peach. It leans more feminine in a nice way.

Beginning with peach and blood orange, you’ll note that the fruit is the star of this scent. The dry down of sandalwood and patchouli will cut through the sweetness enough to give you some great masculine and woody aspects, while the overall structure will be sweeter and brighter.

According to my nose, this is a younger and more feminine variation on the classic Tom Ford scent.

2. ALT Peach Smash

$49.00 AT ALTFRAGRANCES.COM

ALT Peach Smash, a more youthful twist on the Bitter Peach perfume, starts with peach, blood orange, and cardamom, adding a spicy aspect to the otherwise sweet and refreshing beginning. The smell then changes to one of cognac and jasmine, which is both very warming and very fragrant, and then patchouli and vanilla to finish it off.

Despite possessing all of Tom Ford Bitter Peach’s more masculine characteristics, I find this scent to be light and airy in contrast. The smell lasts a long time and has a modest sillage. To my nose, this scent will grow sweeter as it dries, so despite the spice and deeper ingredients, it may have a more feminine interpretation.

3. Alexandria Better Peach

$42.99 AT ALEXANDRIAFRAGRANCES.COM

Alexandria Better Peach, a wonderful unisex scent, encapsulates Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach’s flexibility. The scent begins with peach, blood orange, and cardamom and finishes with cognac, heliotrope, and jasmine. The base of the scent is a rich vanilla that goes well with the cognac and peach to make a pleasant but deep scent.

What I enjoy about this scent is that, despite its sweeter ingredients, it isn’t overly cloying, and, although subtle, the bouquet of heliotrope and jasmine truly shines through in the middle notes. Overall, I believe this scent is a wonderful spicy rendition that lasts a long time without being too overbearing.

4. Oil Perfumery Impression of Bitter Peach

$14.95 AT OILPERFUMERY.COM

If you’re looking for a fruity scent similar to Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach, Oil Perfumery has you covered. The first notes of Peche de Vigne and orange blossom are delicious, sweet, and somewhat boozy. There will be a tinge of cardamom as well, although it will be less spicy than the Tom Ford version. The smell fades into heliotrope, rum, and jasmine, and then settles into a light undertone of sandalwood and vanilla.

The peche de vigne enhances the sweetness of the peach in this scent. There is less of the exciting fruity explosion in the beginning, but the deep sweetness of the fruit goes well with the rum and vanilla for the rest of the structure.

This fragrance dupe doesn’t last as long as some of the others, but Oil Perfumery is small and easy to carry around, and its rollerball shape lets you apply it as many

£4.00 AT PERFUME-PARLOUR.CO.UK

Perfume Parlour, a fragrance available in everything from perfume to body wash, takes the iconic Tom Ford Bitter Peach aroma and adds a touch of lightness.

The top notes are immediately lighter and airier, with heliotrope, cardamom, peach, and blood orange. The flowery and gentle middle notes of davana and jasmine lead into a base of vanilla, sandalwood, and vetiver.

I enjoy that this scent is less sweet and more delicate than the Tom Ford version.

6. Fragrenza Better Peach

Fragrenza Better Peach

$62.99 AT FRAGRENZA.COM

Fragrenza opens with peach, blood orange, and cardamom. As it dries down, it has more silky ingredients like vetiver that add a velvety touch to an otherwise peachy scent.

This dupe scent has a little citrus-forward undertone that runs throughout the whole composition. Because of its adaptability, the blood orange seems a little brighter than in the original, and it makes this fragrance an excellent candidate for a trademark perfume. The combination of tonka bean and vanilla with vetiver is deep and cozy, yet the cardamom from the beginning lends a hint of spiciness to the mix.

Final Note about Bitter Peach Dupes

Tom Ford Bitter Peach is a fragrance that is flexible enough to be anyone’s distinctive perfume. Regardless, it’s difficult to make a fragrance your go-to perfume when you know you won’t be able to purchase another bottle after it’s gone. This isn’t to say you shouldn’t indulge yourself in a spicy peach fragrance that smells as good as the genuine thing. Although they are not Tom Ford fragrances, the Tom Ford Bitter Peach Dupes described in this article have the same peachy versatility that we know and love from Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach.
