Ernest Beaux therefore chose to play with overdosed aldehydes, from the start of the Chanel fragrance . The latter are also associated with bergamot, lemon and neroli. The bouquet is very sumptuous and combines rose, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang. Finally, the base is suave and sensual and mixes vanilla, sandalwood and vetiver. More slender than the bottle of Eau du Perfume, that of “N ° 5 Eau de Toilette” is as sober and minimalist as ever. It is topped with a thick black rectangular cabochon that offers the ultimate touch of elegance and femininity.
